Have you ever heard a song that captivated your soul and spoke to your heart in all the languages it understood?
I have had several and most of them were surprisingly from TV shows and movies. May be that was the whole reason why those producers decided to feature these songs in their work.
This particular song I'm addressing today is from Smallville, A TV series by CW about Superman's earlier days before becoming the superhero in the cape.
It was featured in Season 3 of Smallville, portraying a serene scene of Lana Lang in France. It's strange how the first time saw it was a scene in the afternoon, sweaty and sunny but later I could only envision an a dark evening with pouring rain. It created a dreamy atmosphere whenever I listened to it and one thing was consistent. It was the serenity. The heavenly vocals spread patiently across time and slow strums of strings woke me up in to dreams of my own.
